He has over 20 years of experience serving at the Economy and Finance industry in the Middle East and USA. He started his tenure with Ministry of Finance & National Economy of Saudi Arabia in 1982 as an Economic Researcher, served as Director of the Environment Unit, Acting Director of the International Financial Institutions Department. In 1995 he moved to Washington DC to serve as Assistant to the Saudi Executive Director at the World Bank; and was later appointed Alternate Executive Director for Saudi Arabia at the World Bank Board until 2000. Later in 2000, he joined the Saudi Public Investment Fund (Ministry of Finance) as Senior Economist where he was in charge of several privatization operations. He joined the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Group in November 2001 as Deputy General Manager of the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD), the Private Sector arm of IDB. Mr. Khaled Al-Aboodi is a Saudi National, and holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics from King Saud University, Riyadh (1982), and a Master Degree in Economics from the North eastern University, Boston, USA (1987).

Vice Chairman has more than 28 years of experience in banking field. He is the Head of Turkey Office – Kuwait Finance House and also a board member in Kuwait Turkish Participation Bank. Prior to that he was Deputy Chief Executive Officer in KTEFH. From 1993 to 1996 he also worked as Assistant Manager in KFH in International Investments department. Prior to that he worked as a Supervisor – International Banking in Bank of Kuwait and The Middle East. He is BA in Economics and Business Administration from Macalester College, USA.

3. Mr. Salah Addeen Abdul Qader Saeed

He is highly experienced and qualified with 27 years of experience as a senior marketing and credit officer in commercial and Islamic banks. He is a Senior Director- Credit and risk Management in Bahrain Islamic Bank. Prior to that he was Manager- Credit Review Department and also in Corporate Banking in National Bank of Bahrain( NBB) . He started his career as Mechanical Engineer in Aluminum Bahrain Company. He is a Board member in Liquidity Management and the Steering committee of the centre for Islamic studies representing Bahrain Islamic Bank. He holds a degree of Doctor of Business Administration and MBA from University of Hull.

He has over fourteen years of experience in Finance, Accounting & Auditing and is presently Financial Control Head in AlBaraka Banking Group , Bahrain. . Prior to that he was Senior Manager- Internal Audit in Ithmaar Bank and also in Shamil Bank of Bahrain B.S.C… He also worked in Arthur Andersen as Senior Auditor. Prior to that he was with Bahrain Monetary Agency as Bank Examiner. He holds a Board membership in Waqaf Fund – Centre for Islamic studies. He has a Bachelor degree in Accounting and is a member of AICPA.

He has more than 24 years of experience in Finance, Accounting & Auditing, Risk Management and developing Management Information Systems, covering a wide range of activities in many countries. He is currently appointed as Division Chief, Operational and Market Risk in Risk Management Department, Islamic Development Bank (IDB)–Jeddah, KSA. Prior to that he was Section Head, Treasury Liquidity Portfolio in the Risk Management Department, Officer in Charge, Project Section in Finance Department, IDB – Jeddah, and as Disbursement Officer. Prior to his appointment in IDB, Jeddah in 1993 he worked for Ernst & Young, Kuwait and Jeddah offices as Accountant and prior to that in KPMG Hazem Hassan – Cairo, Egypt as Assistant Auditor. Mr. Ahmed Murad Hammouda has a Bachelor of Commerce (Accountancy Major) Ain Shams University – Cairo, Egypt and is CPA (Certified Public Accountant) , USA and CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) USA".

6. Mr. Basel A. Haj Issa

He has more than nineteen years of experience in banking field. He is currently Director of Planning & Business Development – Arab Islamic Bank. Prior to that he was a Director Monitoring & Evaluation Unit (M&E ) in Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD). He also worked in Century Investment Group as Budget Officer/Analyst. He started his career with Marshall University Research Corporation (MURC) as a Financial Manager. He is Masters of Business Administration from Marshall University, Huntington, West Virginia, USA

He has more than twenty seven years of experience in Finance sector. Currently he is Advisor in JCR-VIS Credit Rating Company Limited , Karachi, Pakistan. Prior to that he was Executive Vice President in Atlas Investment Bank Ltd.. Prior to that he was Senior Vice President in National Development Leasing Corporation Ltd. He has also worked for Bank of Oman Limited (presently Mashreq Bank PLC), Karachi as Manager. Prior to that he was General Manager (Finance) in Pakistan Steel Fabricating Co. Ltd. He started his career with M/s A. F. Ferguson & Co to complete his articles. During this period, he carried out statutory and management audits of a large number of leading companies and banks. He holds a degree of Masters in Business Administration from University of Wisconsin – Madison. He graduated with double majors in Accounting and Information Systems Analysis & Design. He also took several courses in Finance, Investment & Banking.
